Wish Lists

If you can't afford stuff....which is most of the time for me, at least you can wish for it right? I love the Ebay collections because it allows you to save the things you really like, that way if you can afford them later you'll know where to find them. It's kind of like bookmarking or pinning if you will. I also look at things for inspiration. I'm the type of person who looks at something and says, "I can make that."  For example, Kreepsville666 has some really awesome stuff but I can't afford it right now, so I look at their accessories and get some ideas for what I could make on my own. Like this cute meat cleaver pendant. It looks like something fun to make. I could definitely try. I see making it out of polymer clay and then making hair clips or a pin. So if you need it but can't afford it, and you have the means to create, then try your hand at making yourself some fun accessories!

And more inspiration from:

I try to improvise with what I have. When I bought my Death Note figures I decided to make little treats for L out of clay. It was quite the project but I was amazed I was able to create such small, detailed things.

Cheap Accessories!

Ebay is a great place to find cheap goth accessories. I'm a big fan of skeleton/skull anything so I just simply look up something like skeleton hand hair clips, and then click on Buy it Now, I go for the free shipping (or really cheap shipping). Yeah, they're from China so you have to be willing to wait a few weeks to get them but hey, it's something to look forward to! I've bought several things from China, mostly Death Note figures, and they never take as long as you'd think. I love getting things in the mail! I've spent $3.81 and under on some great accessories.

Got this tonight for $3.81!
$2.31+ $1.50 S&H

And this was 99 cents! Free Shipping! Yay!

I'm so excited to be getting these two items next month, especially the necklace because I've been wanting one of those for quite a while. I have white skeleton hand hair clips, as seen in some of my photo's and I love them, they're one of my best purchases.
I've gotten DOZENS of compliments on these!

Thrifting and strange comment...

So, its been forever since I've been thrifting, because of lack of money! So today was the glorious day that I got to go! But guess what? It was kind of a bust. I only had $15 to spend and there just wasn't much to buy out there today and the things I did want were too expensive and I couldn't justify buying them. I got one more store to go to tonight, see what's there. I'll most likely be doing a mini thrift/cheap stuff haul video tonight and I'll post here. I did get a few things. So the strange comment? I went to send back one of my Gwynnee Bee outfits today and the guy at the post office looked at me and said, "You have creepy things in your hair." lol He smiled so I assumed it wasn't an insult. I've just had so many positive comments about my skeleton hand hair clips that this was the first one that deemed them as "creepy" but I smiled, and said "Yep!" cause I thought it was funny.

Getting used to my new hair

So at first the amount of green in this shade of hair color was a bit shocking because I've never wanted to go green with my hair! But over the past few days, I've gotten some compliments and I'm really starting to warm up to the shade. It's definitely new, unique and fun. I feel like a Mermaid sometimes. lol Which is cool. I love Mermaids.

So I'm added a little more color to the areas that were still a bit light and we'll see how that goes. Also I have naturally curly hair so today I'm not gonna straiten it, except for my bangs and leave the rest natural. Will post that pic soon. :)

Randomness

So, I realized I have a other things I wanna say and talk about that are more blog-ish/journal like, so here goes.

So let's talk about hair and makeup. Fun stuff. I know makeup isn't everything, and I don't wear it every day but it is fun, mood boosting and eye enhancing.

Playing around and experimenting with new looks is not only fun but a learning process. I use to absolutely suck at makeup, and I find myself getting better at eyeshadow and liner and now I'm finally understanding how it's done! Dressing Goth or any genre of fashion is only half the look, makeup and hair completes it, and makes it look finished.

Hair is an amazing thing. Although essentially dead, from the scalp down, it's a still beautiful. We can do so much with, and to it. I love coloring my hair. I naturally have black hair so you can imagine how hard that is to change but I've colored it so many times that I've worked around that. Some successes, some not, but when it does work, especially the bright, bold colors, I feel happy. Here are a few of my colors.

Started out Purple-ish       Moved on to Red            Then more magenta         And now Aqua!

I actually found someone someone with this color!
